This was quite tough to tab as it is basically a jazz song so the chords are rather unusual. I haven’t played most of these chords for quite a while but I’ve tried to get all of them that are played tabbed out. I might have made a few small mistakes because jazz isn’t really my thing....but I’ve played it through a few times and its pretty damn close! I’ve tabbed the intro in a seperate entry....working on the solo...lol Learn all of these chords...they’re FUN!!! *********************************************************************** INSTRUMENTAL INTRO (x2) INTRO Every mornin’ the last couple of weeks In between shaving and brushing my teeth. I lean on the sink and practice my lines By now you would think they’d be memorized. Leave it to me to come all this way Get down on one knee and forget what to say. I’m at a loss should have known this is how it would be ’Cos you have that effect on me. I must admit I still don’t understand Why I lose my head holdin’ your hand. There’s no explanation no simple excuse For this intoxication I feel around you. Now truth be known since I met you girl I’ve been walkin’ around my own little world. One look in my eyes oh and darlin any fool could see That you have that effect on me. (x3) INSTRUMENTAL You’ve had your eye on a two carat ring I finally went out and I bought it. Right now its at home sitting on my TV Would you believe I forgot it? Oh but you can’t blame me ’Cos its plain to see That you have that effect on me. Yeah you have that effect on me. Girl you have that effect on me. ENDING CHORDS
