Based off the album version just simple chords You can hear a pulse in the song where the chords change it’s an odd rhythm with some syncopation but it works. I tried to reflect where in a word the chord changes but it’s just how I hear it- listen to the song get the rhythm of the chords and how they change down first and then work on adding the lyrics would be my advice. The lyrics are very loosely connected to the music in the verses of the song especially. The strumming pattern I put in changes chords on beats 1 the & of 2 5 and the & of 6. Repeats resuming on the first chord when the 8-beat pattern is complete.
