Lyrics and music by Elton John and Gary Osborne 1981 album "The Fox" An underappreciated rarely broadcasted piece (like other songs on the same album). [Intro] [Verse 1] How come you’re so understanding When I tell you all my lies And pretending to believe them See through all my alibis? [Pre-chorus 1] And I need you more than ever And I want you till the end Chloe                 [Verse 2] How you handle what you live through I can never hope to learn Taking all the pain I give you Loving blindly in return [Pre-chorus 2] And I need you more than ever I will always be your friend Chloe(hmm) Chlo-e [Chorus] Chloe what you gonna do about me? Chlo-e what you gonna do What you gonna do about me? [Verse 3] You’re the lifeline that I cling to When I feel like giving in When the dreams that I rely on Start to wear a little thin [Pre-chorus 3] Then I need you more than ever And I want you till the end Chloe(hmm) Chlo-e [Chorus] Chloe what you gonna do about me? Chlo-e what you gonna do What you gonna do about me? [Guitar solo]          [Pre-chorus 1] And I need you more than ever And I want you till the end Chloe(hmm) Chlo-e [Chorus] Chloe what you gonna do about me? Chlo-e what you gonna do What you gonna do about me? What you gonna do about me?
