La chanson évoque le malaise d'un voisin curieux qui s'immisce dans la vie de l'autre. On y ressent une frustration face à cette intrusion et une invitation à se concentrer sur sa propre existence plutôt que de juger les autres. L'idée principale tourne autour de la liberté individuelle et du fait que chacun voit ce qu’il veut voir. Au fond, c'est un rappel que nos propres préoccupations ne devraient pas être le sujet d’analyses extérieures.
